[ The Etiquette Dinner ]
The Etiquette Dinner is a tradition within the
Honors College Association. It has been hosted three times, beginning
with a dinner at the Jonesboro Country Club in spring 2005. The
Etiquette Dinner is an opportunity for HCA members to attend a three
course meal and learn dining tips from a local etiquette expert.
HCA members rank the Etiquette Dinner among their favorite club
activities because it is as much a social experience as an educational
one. Surrounded by friends, students can be comfortably uncomfortable
in business attire, and they can ask questions about topics such
as silverware and proper handshakes—information that will
become quite useful in the professional realm.
